Acceptable Use Policy
YantraOS is built for bounded, user-confirmed computer actions. This policy defines uses that are not permitted.
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to YantraOS, yantraos.com, and any related service covered by our Terms of Service. It applies whether you use YantraOS personally, for an organization, or to build a workflow for someone else.
Lawful, authorized use
You may use YantraOS only for lawful purposes, on systems, accounts, files, and websites that you are authorized to access. You must comply with applicable laws, contracts, platform rules, and third-party terms.
You must not use YantraOS to gain unauthorized access, evade access restrictions, interfere with another person's system, exfiltrate data, distribute malware, or facilitate any illegal activity.
Safety and high-impact uses
Do not use YantraOS to make or execute a decision that has a consequential effect on a person's legal status, financial position, employment, education, housing, healthcare, safety, human rights, or life opportunities without meaningful human oversight and all required legal safeguards.
Do not use YantraOS for activities that could cause physical or psychological harm, unlawful surveillance, stalking, harassment, discrimination, exploitation of vulnerable people, or unsupported medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.
Security and access controls
Do not attempt to bypass or weaken YantraOS confirmation prompts, allowlists, managed-folder boundaries, access controls, audit records, or provider safety controls. Do not use prompt injection, adversarial instructions, scripts, or integrations to cause an action outside the user-approved scope.
Security testing is allowed only with our prior written permission and within an agreed scope. Responsible vulnerability reporting is described on our Security page.
Deception and harmful content
Do not use YantraOS to impersonate a person or organization, misrepresent AI-generated action as human action, create deceptive accounts or reviews, run spam campaigns, distribute phishing content, or manipulate people through false or misleading information.
Do not use the Service to create, distribute, or act on content that is abusive, hateful, exploitative, sexually abusive, violent, terrorist, or otherwise harmful. Do not use AI features to infer sensitive attributes or emotional state from a person's image, voice, or behavior.
Data and third-party rights
Do not submit, capture, or send another person's personal data, confidential information, copyrighted material, credentials, or other protected content unless you have a lawful basis and all permissions needed for the requested use. You are responsible for reviewing what is visible in a screenshot before you confirm an AI-assisted action.
Do not use YantraOS to remove content credentials, watermarking, provenance signals, or security information from content where doing so is unlawful or misleading.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action that is reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, systems, or the public. Action can include warnings, feature limits, suspension, termination, preserving evidence, or reporting conduct to the appropriate authority where required or appropriate.
Our model and infrastructure providers may also enforce their own terms. A violation can result in loss of access to a provider-backed feature.
Reporting concerns
Report suspected abuse or a policy violation through the Contact page. For security issues, follow the reporting guidance on our Security page.
