We're early — small by design right now, not by accident. yantraOS is built by directing a fleet of AI coding agents rather than a large in-house engineering team, which means the work here looks different from most software jobs: less writing code line by line, more architecture, judgment, and review — deciding what should exist, and making sure it's actually safe before it ships.
We're not running a formal hiring process yet. But if building an AI-native operating system from the ground up — safety architecture, natural-language interaction, an open-core engine — sounds like the kind of problem you'd want in on early, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
What working here actually looks like, right now:
- Small, fast, and direct — decisions happen in hours, not committee cycles
- AI-agent-directed development is the default way things get built, not an experiment layered on top
- "It works" means someone checked, not that an agent reported success
