Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Euryale Ferox Private Limited (“Euryale Ferox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), incorporated in Darbhanga, Bihar, India. They apply to yantraos.com, waitlist and contact services, and YantraOS software releases that link to or reference these Terms.

By using a covered service, you agree to these Terms. If you use YantraOS for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization. A separate written agreement controls any enterprise or hosted service where it expressly applies.

YantraOS interprets natural-language instructions and can propose bounded actions on your computer. Current capabilities may include launching allowlisted applications, creating or moving files inside a managed folder, and supervised browser or desktop interactions. Features, supported environments, and limits can vary by release.

The public alpha is a research and evaluation release. Test it in a disposable virtual machine, keep backups, and do not rely on it as a daily-driver operating system or for a task where an error could cause serious harm.

Where enabled, Hosted Runtime includes a monthly free allowance. After that allowance is used, you may purchase additional runtime credits through Stripe Checkout. The price, credit amount, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before payment. Credits are tied to the purchasing account, are not transferable, and have no cash value.

Stripe processes payment details on our behalf; YantraOS does not receive your full card number. We may record account, payment, credit, and metered-usage information needed to grant credits, enforce runtime limits, prevent abuse, reconcile charges, and provide support. Refund and cancellation rights are governed by applicable law and the terms shown at checkout.

YantraOS may use AI models to reason about an instruction or a screenshot. AI output is probabilistic: it can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for your situation. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial, employment, or safety advice.

YantraOS requests your confirmation before taking an action that requires system access and records that action in an audit trail. Confirmation is a safety control, not a guarantee that an action is appropriate. You remain responsible for reviewing the proposed action, its visible context, and its result.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for the prompts, screenshots, files, systems, and accounts you use with YantraOS. Do not submit personal data, secrets, or third-party content unless you are authorized to do so and understand that a supervised AI feature can transmit the information needed to perform your requested task.

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, and the terms that apply to any system or website you direct YantraOS to use. You must not bypass confirmation, allowlist, permission, or security controls.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use covered YantraOS software for its intended purpose. Open-source components are governed by their own licenses, which take precedence for those components. See Open Source Licensing and Attribution.

YantraOS is based on Arch Linux. Arch Linux and its logo are trademarks of their respective owners. YantraOS is not an official Arch Linux product and is not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with the Arch Linux project. We also rely on third-party services described in our Subprocessors Disclosure.

We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, systems, or the Service; investigate suspected misuse; or comply with law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and restore access after the issue is resolved.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new update date. If applicable law requires a different notice or consent process, we will follow it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output, compatibility with every system, or that a confirmed action will achieve your intended result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that mandatory consumer law preserves.

These Terms do not limit protections that apply to you under mandatory law. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights, those rights continue to apply. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
