Usage guide

Download the public alpha ISO and verify its checksum and signature from the GitHub release before booting it. Use QEMU or another disposable VM for evaluation, and keep independent backups of any files you make available to the system.

• Launch configured, allowlisted applications.
• Create and manage files inside ~/Documents/YantraOS.
• Complete supervised browser and desktop actions with visible confirmation.
• Run bounded computation through the Docker sandbox.

Read each proposed action before approving it. Check the target application, file path, and visible screen context. Decline requests that are ambiguous, irreversible, or outside the task you intended.

Audit records are designed to make actions reviewable. They do not replace backups, endpoint security, or your own judgment.

The yantraOS 2.0 roadmap builds from this baseline toward a hosted runtime, developer platform, and first-party skills. Those capabilities are not available from the alpha download and should not be represented as current product behavior.
